The Ironman North American Championships were held yesterday in Mont-Tremblant, Quebec, Canada. The event started strong with defending champ Luke Bell leading the pack coming out of the water. Then TJ Tollakson made a move and took the lead around the 70 km mark of the bike portion creating a huge gap between his fellow competitors going into the run. TJ held strong and ended up breaking the course record with a winning time of 8:16:17. This win also qualifies TJ for the Ironman World Championships in Kona, Hawaii in October. Congratulations to TJ on his amazing win in Quebec and we look forward to watching him compete at the Ironman World Championships!
