The 2018 Ironman 70.3 Bariloche commenced among the picturesque forests, snow-capped mountain peaks and glistening lakes in Patagonia on Sunday, March 11th. The race began with a 1.2-mile swim through the waters of Lake Morena, followed by a challenging double loop of 56 miles through the woods on bike, and finished up with a 13.1-mile run course along the shore of Lake Nahuel Huapi leading to the finishing line in the Civic Center of the City.
Our athlete TJ Tollakson competed against an array of top competitors, ending the day with a 4th place finish by a mere 17 seconds.
In less than a month TJ will be taking on Ironman Texas 70.3. We wish him the best of luck with training leading up to that event!
