Ironman 70.3 Racine Results

On Sunday the Ironman 70.3 Racine commenced in Wisconsin.  Athletes were to traverse a 1.2-mile swim along the shore of Lake Michigan, but due to frigid water temperatures the swim portion of the race had to be cancelled.  This left a 56-mile bike course along the Racine County countryside and a 13.1-mile run featuring the Racine Zoo and the Lake Michigan coastline. 

Our athlete TJ Tollakson was in attendance and finished the day with a bike split of 2:02:22 and completed the run at 3:23:33 giving him 8^th place overall.  TJ will compete again next Sunday at Ironman Lake Placid.
